Jeremy Brown
Jeremy is from The Roseland in Cornwall and attended St Austell grammar school. His career began as an accounts auditor in Truro and he later founded publishing company Fax Pax with Ashley Mickelright and created information packs of cards.
Jeremy is a strong narrator and story teller and during the 1990s authored over twenty titles on the subjects of British heritage and wildlife, US politics and titles for children’s education. The series proved popular due to the clarity of writing, clear information and meticulously researched material.
The bestselling pack, Kings and Queens of England, sold over two million copes; while the London heritage cards sold over a million.
They were available at Buckingham Palace, the National Portrait Gallery and were sold in many stately homes by English Heritage.
Audrey Brown
Audrey authored Butterflies and Wild Flowers. Originally from London, she moved to Cornwall and later studied politics with the Open University.
Georgina Brown
Georgina is a cookbook publisher who writes baking books for beginners. She has studied patissierie, pastry work and crafting pies at Denman College and in-depth professional catering at Cornwall College.
During her MA in writing at Falmouth University, Georgina specialised in producing recipe books and received distinctions for her book layouts, design and writing.
Georgina is from a family of very keen cooks and her Cornish great grandmother was a chef to the Lord Mayor of London.
Her recipes focus on traditional English, Cornish and French cuisine and her interest extends to culinary delights from the Continent, Eastern Europe and nordic countries.
As a writer, Georgina created a lexicon of words associated with baking in order to produce a broadly themed baking book, covering a wide range of baking skills and cakes.
She has managed to condense many vintage bakes down into basic recipes and offer simple variations to create many classic cakes.
Stacey Savin
Stacey authored the first draft of Presidents and First Ladies. She is an American lawyer with great insight into US politics and culture.
Barry Dickinson
Barry wrote the wonderful poems in the Modern Rhymes set.
